I never imagined myself writing full-time.

Going into college, I was very much a confused liberal-arts kid. I had no idea what to do and had no real passions, so I just majored in something I found sorta interesting (Political Science) and hoped for the best.

Because of my major, I always assumed I would end up in law school. Not because I wanted to be a lawyer, but because I didn’t know what else to do.

This changed in August of 2021.

I was at a bar and was talking to an old friend from high-school who I hadn’t seen in a few years. While we’re catching up, she mentions that she works in finance and suggests that I buy Ethereum “because it is going to moon soon”. I had no idea what Ethereum was, but I agreed to look into it.

Ignoring the fact that this girl was trying to dump on me, this conversation changed my life.

For the first time in my life, I had something I was truly passionate about and wanted to do full-time. Only problem was I had no pathway to a traditional crypto full-time job. I didn’t code. I didn’t trade. And I didn’t have a finance background. All I had was an obsession with the space and the ability to write.

So, I started to write.

In January of 2022, I started my newsletter. By May, I was finally making some money. By September, I was writing full time for Launch House, CoinSnacks, and other freelance clients.

And it all started from a girl in a bar.

If you would like to reach out to me, please do and send me a DM on Twitter. I’m always looking to make new friends.
